Paul Koster

Partner

Paul provides advice relating to financial, tax and accounting matters. As well, he offers specialized expertise regarding mergers, acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and shareholder disputes. Paul has served as a board member for numerous business and non-profit organizations.

Jeffrey Spinks

CPA CA CBV

Managing Partner

As our Managing Partner, Jeff provides many years of experience in accounting, audit and income tax related matters. Jeff is also a Chartered Business Valuator and has assisted and given advice to clients on strategic matters including corporate re-organizations, specialized business transactions, valuations for mergers, successions, divestitures and acquisitions and estate planning for high net worth individuals. He has provided valuable litigation support and expert testimony which has resulted in numerous negotiated and structured settlements.

Michael Koster

Partner

Michael works mainly with entrepreneurs in small and medium-sized businesses, providing complete auditing, accounting and taxation services. In addition, he enjoys giving general business advice on start-ups, growth situations, and purchases and sales of businesses.

Graeme Duff

Partner

Since 1988, Graeme has been providing accounting, auditing and financial planning services for owner-managers, professionals and operators of non-profit organizations. Graeme is experienced in the area of real estate and has guided many clients through syndications and other tax-assisted investments.

Blair Kennedy

Partner

Blair joined the Firm in 1986 and was appointed Tax Partner in the summer of 1998. As a Tax Specialist, he primarily oversees Corporate Reorganizations, Owner-Manager Taxation, Estate Planning and Wealth Preservation. Blair is also very active with a large provincial charity.

Mark Humphrey

Partner

Mark became a partner in 2002 specializing in both corporate and personal income tax. He provides integrated strategies for minimizing the overall tax burden in estate planning, reorganizations, acquisitions and divestitures. As well, he offers business valuation advice related to tax, shareholder agreements and specialized business transactions.

John Quilty

Partner

John joined KSK in 1987 and became a partner in 2006. He provides accounting, personal and corporate tax services to individuals and a wide variety of owner managed businesses including those in the real estate and entertainment industry. John is a volunteer coach for hockey and baseball in the North Toronto area.

Carson Hirner

Principal

Carson joined the Firm in 1989 as a student. He became a Certified Financial Planner in 1998 and was appointed Principal in 2000. He specializes in Cross-Border Tax Planning issues, and US Taxes. Carson received his U.S. CPA designation in 2003.

Heather Spinks

Senior Principal

Heather joined the Firm in 1980, primarily specializing in tax-related issues and concentrating on United States taxation services. She is also a Financial Divorce Specialist and Certified Financial Planner, offering advisory services with respect to matrimonial matters and financial planning.

Steve Fridman

Principal

Steve is a principal of the firm. As the firm’s primary Quality Control Monitor, he is currently responsible for establishing and monitoring quality standards for the firm’s accounting and auditing practices and overseeing quality control on audits, reviews and financial statement disclosure. Steve provides advice on accounting, auditing and financial reporting matters for the firm’s clients.

Richard Lynch

Principal

Richard joined Koster, Spinks & Koster LLP as a student in the spring of 1997 and has been a Manager since 2002, and was appointed Principal in January 2013. Richard works mainly with owner managed businesses and investment companies, offering assurance, accounting, and taxation (corporate and personal) services and advice for a variety of the firm’s clients.

Kevin McDonald

Principal

Kevin joined KSK LLP in January 2005 and has been a manager since 2009. In November 2015 he was promoted to Principal. He received his CMA designation in 2006 and completed the CICA In-depth Tax Course in 2010.  Kevin focuses primarily on Canadian Income Tax issues related to individuals, corporations, estates and trusts, and in-bound investment for non-resident corporations.  Kevin also specializes in taxpayer disputes with the CRA and voluntary disclosure submissions.

Molly Koster Cameron

Principal

Molly joined the firm in June 2005 and was appointed Principal in November 2015. Molly qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2006 and completed the CICA In-Depth Tax Course in 2010. She is the contact person for a number of newly formed owner-managed businesses. Molly also provides personal and corporate income tax services and is involved with various audit and assurance engagements.

Graham Allen

Principal

Graham joined Koster, Spinks & Koster LLP as a student in September of 2002 and left us in the Fall of 2006, returning in early 2012. He has been a Manager since his return and was recently appointed Principal. He focuses primarily on US Taxation.

Amanda Fok

Principal

Amanda joined Koster, Spinks & Koster LLP as a student and has been a Manager since 2015. She was recently appointed Principal. She provides accounting and corporate taxation services for the firm’s clients, and works on Canadian and US personal taxes. She is involved in various audit and assurance engagements, and also assists with hiring for the Firm.

Lucas Fok

Principal

Lucas joined Koster, Spinks & Koster LLP as a student in the summer of 2005, full-time in the fall of 2006 and was recently appointed Principal.  He offers accounting and Canadian taxation services (corporate and personal) with a focus on investment holding companies.  He is involved with various audit and assurance engagements, and also assists with the hiring process.

Rohin Nambiar

Principal

Rohin was recently appointed Principal. He provides accounting, corporate taxation, audit and assurance services to the firm's clients across a broad range of industries. He is also experienced in Canadian and US personal tax, and assists with the quality control review process at the firm for audit and review engagements.

Maggie Lao

Principal

Maggie joined Koster, Spinks & Koster LLP in February, 2011 and was appointed Principal in 2023. She became a U.S. CPA in 2008 and Chartered Business Valuator in 2020. Maggie specializes in providing advisory services including US personal tax, valuation for business transactions, corporate re-organizations and estate planning. .

Sharon Chau

Principal

Sharon joined Koster, Spinks & Koster LLP as a student in September 2001. She was 'moved upstairs' and appointed Manager in 2007. Her workload focuses primarily on Corporate and Trust returns for the managing partner. .
